There was a few albums of cool stuff left from older brothers and sisters.

My timeline is sketchy but I reckon this is one the first that I bought with my own pocket money.

Don't think I bought an album until I was about 12.

not too bothered by all the talk of the death of the album, anyone that still feels the need to create a cohesive piece of work will still do so. others will just attempt to churn out the hits.

first albums i chose to have bought for me would have been kylie, that jive bunny one and also hysteria. got them with pertol station tokens i think

then i figured out you can copy everyones albums

then i finally went and bought RATM with my own money

yay jive bunny !

and yes, you could copy albums but they never felt as special as the originals. You didnt have the artwork or the lyrics and it just wasnt the same

listening to some jive bunny on spotify now :D

the whole thing was marketed very much as a novelty act with a kiddy friendly face but it actually wasn't that bad

sure all those songs used were classics

First album that was given to me, think i was 5 and it was a guilt present for being forced to do Irish dancing as my mother couldn't mind me after school.

First album i asked for when it was my birthday. Played it so much it scratched to bits, or else i was just a very clumsy kid.
Image

First album i bought of my own free will and own money. It's definitely the one i tell people when they ask. ;)
