When is Metal Gear 5 due out? I only buy two or three brand new games a year, that might be one of them.

I'm barely using my PS4 at the moment. Next gen needs a big game before its worth getting.

That was exactly my thinking.

And I'm gonna buy a new mountain bike too.

Yup, that's the one I went for. Thought if I was gonna spend I may as well go all out. I had a wee 60 quid HD camera that I used to take video on holiday last year. This one looks more fun. I'm gonna take everything in time lapse now.

Dont scrimp on the micro sd card anyway. I bought a cheap one and it kept cutting out after 5 seconds if recording with the best quality. You need a Micro SD with like above 35x write speed. Theyre expensive but the camera is useless without it

Class 10 is what you want AFAIK - they're cheap enough anyway

I'm very excited to start playing with it. I feel I may need to try out some new sports too just to make it worth buying.

Finally finished Beyond Two Souls

Despite it being a QTE-fest, I actually got really into the story and loved it.

Gameplay kind of sucked, but I can't remember being taken in so much by the story of a game ever, so that part was hugely succesful.

Totally satisfying ending, too

When Murdered: Soul Suspect drops in price (it'll be in the $20 bins by Xmas) pick it up, I have a feeling you'll really love it for the above reason

I'll give it a look for sure

I have Heavy Rain at home and going to give it a go soon. I'm in full on backlog clearing mode at the moment.

Playing Ryse now, but that'll only take me a few nights to clear. Nine chapters and I did three of them in 90 minutes last night

Microsoft's E3 conference has been awful so far. Nothing but sequels (apart from Evolve).

The gaming industry is in a really weird place right now. Games have never been better, but there's absolutely no imagination outside the indie space. It's in very real danger of devouring itself

I started streaming the conference, opening speech was great, then they jumped right into COD so I just turned it off

it's shite. there's literally no reason to buy an xbox one if that's the extent of what they've got. halo master chief edition, featuring the third release of halo combat evolved, and second release of halo 2, halo 3 and halo 3. deadly.

sony better have something vaguely interesting up their sleeves, there's only so much of the same 5 games with different skins and voice actors you can see

Ill have to watch it again tonight, missed the first half. Seems like theres fuck all coming out this year for it. Some of the games announced for 2015 held some interest for me. But no gameplay shown for any of them really.

It was pretty dire to be honest. Platinum's new game looks decent, but the rest was pretty uninspired apart from a sizzle reel of indies that had some decent looking titles in there. If Sony has anything good later on you'd have to think the One is fucked
