and is it just me or can every player play above their skill quite regularly except for strikers, or is it just the shithead strikers i have??

Strikers have always been a problem for me. I find it very hard to keep their form up, they don't play well a lot of the time and have had very little joy out of them come change report time. I'm down to three strikers per squad in each of my squad and still struggling

My new one I'm struggling with is trying to bring on a young keeper, getting him experience, while keeping your first choice keeper in good form. Equally tough

I can handle defence and midfield ok. Maybe it's because there's more of them than strikers and keepers, I dunno

Yep and also because the game is very simplistic. If you play 5 defenders your strikers are going to get poor enough ratings simply because they are heavily outnumbered. I have had strikers score 2/3 goals and get nothing more than their skill level

yeah, thinking about it, i had a striker score about 15 goals in maybe 18 games one season, yet consistantly being underwhelmed with his performances in comparison to how my midfielders would punch well above their weight

Yeah but you play 3 in midfield, risky against good teams.

I can't beat Chester in any league

one lad retiring, who i've been trying to flog anyhow cos he's stopping kids getting games. Wasn't going to sack a skill 7 defender. Not that well off.

Same though, hasn't played much, won't miss him next season.

only one player for me, my 7 skill 6th choice defender who has only got 1 game this year anyway

oddly my 9skill 38yo keeper is staying another year, but i can't sell him cause he wants to retire at the club, but i've already replaced him

Splainc 3 - 3 Go Team

good man Splainc, sorry you didn't get the win (i got a last minute equaliser after being 3-1 down). Was expecting to drop 2 points in my run in to one of the underdogs, and was hoping it would be to you considering you've been the best of the rest. didn't even realise who i was playing but had made my team so not an excuse, twas my 1st choice back 5 (incl keeper). disappointed i lost what could have been a ridiculous win streak, but happy to have maintained unbeaten record
