Depends on the ex. If they went out for years like then it's a bit odd but if it was a fling, there is no harm in it.

im trying to think of any ex i would get pissed off over my friend being with.. certainly none now, maybe recently after one or two.. but i wouldnt fall out with them over it

You're married with kids and all though. Theres alot of factors in play I reckon. Time since the break up, length of the relationship, who dumped who, how the break up went, has your friend moved on, etc
