Id really like them without the Manga eyes comic look characters in the forefront, Amazing skill for the backgrounds with dedicated detail to light and surroundings. I think the Disco Biscuits one is my Favourite.

Reminds me of them Bratz Dolls. The hard work was painting them backgrounds, its kinda overkill. Some people might deem it as traditional format to paint exactly like the photograph without the characters but i think they still has painterly qualities that photos dont give you.

Yeah the backgrounds are great but the freaky character in the front needs to go. Looks a bit unsettling

her style is part of the low brow movement or pop surrealism as its known in the art world.

Each of the characters represent parts of Rosemary's life experience. Some of which she tells me some of which she doesnt.
Try to think of the characters as feelings and emotions associated with the particular scenes.

the girl certainly has skills, but the focal character in each piece only serves to ruin it

she is obviously using exaggerated proportions to depict a sense of isolation and detachment from the hoi polloi. The foreground characters are at contrast with their surroundings with their awkward poses and uneasy, pensive expressions

or maybe she just really likes bratz dolls

yeah the level of skill is pretty amazing

at first i thought it was her illustration of a girl.. on top of a photo with some photoshop effect over it.. but its proper oil on canvas

the top one of the festival would make an amazing picture without the girl.. or even with the girl .. with a normal photo realistic head

Rosemary says your 100% correct.
She is also trying to depict a sense of over inflated egos.

and shes loves dolls as well. :D :D
