This is pissing me off a bit. I've tried to add this event and it keeps coming up with a Page Not Found error.

When I went to the facebook help page to report the error, I got another page not found.

Can you imagine how much he'd raise if he instead promised not to come to your house if you made a donation

I don't understand these kind of charity things. Why the game of football? How does me playing football having a laugh with my mates, with an added incentive to win a prize of some kind, help people in Haiti? Why not just give the money instead of turning it into fun at someone elses expense? Waste of money anyway, they'll be back blowing each other heads off over crack viles as soon as this gets sorted out.

it's not exactly having fun at someone else's expense, that would be if them playing a game of football caused an earthquake. It was actually tectonic movement that caused the earthquake.

Just thought I'd clear that up for you old chap.

Hiyas,
We (The Alternative Music Society in Trinity) are holding a table quiz in Chaplins, Hawkins St. this Wednesday in aid of UNICEF's emergency appeal for the children of Haiti. 20e for a table of 4, prizes to include a slab of something alcoholic, Tower Records vouchers, and a bunch of little spot prizes, including vouchers for brunch for 2 in the Odessa. Questions to be fairly music-orientated.

Starting at 19.30 if anyone's interested in getting a team together

I've a meeting with Concern today about a possible fundraising campaign. I'll be looking for help from all angles including boardies.

I should know more after lunch.

I'll mostly be looking for people who work in offices outside of the South City Center.

No exact numbers yet but we got a couple of big donations in and we've raised nearly €1900 from 3 offices so far.

Not a whole lot of that has come from Foreign currency but the initiative has drawn out extra donations.

Happy days.

I know it's not the point of the exercise but I'm genuinely proud of this achievement.

Long may it continue.
