I'll watch it all again someday. When I'm ...retired or something. Show the kids what real tv was all about.

Re: Robin
She was dismissed as the Ma in the first episode so I really don't know why they keep coming back to it. She also can't have kids so I don't know where the bluff could be there. I'd have preferred if the 'bride' Ted went to see was a man and the whole thing is that Barney's secretly gay, hence the over compensating. ANYTHING but fucking Robin. Again.

Also re: Lily & Marshall
Marvin? Fucking hell that's a bad name

How the f*ck did you think Robin could be the Ma?

Almost every episode of Lost was really enjoyable. It was a great show with a dodgy ending. Just like lots of great shows.

Ah i don't know. Sometimes when you over analyse stuff too much you come to silly conclusion.

Sure i forgot all about

The "aunt" business as well as the fact she couldn't have kids.

Think i'm transfixed on the notion that it has to be someone we've seen in the show before and seeing as she was 1 of the 2 main female leads just thought maybe her.

Maybe it's the barwoman in MacClarens?

Wonder what ever happened the other bar staff, Karl was it and Will Sasso.

Just seen this upon further inspection;

Quote:
Carl MacLaren is a bartender who has worked at MacLaren's Pub since the Pilot. He is good friends with the entire gang, occassionally serving them free drinks.
In the Pilot, he has a Lebanese girlfriend named Yasmin, however whether they are still together or not is unknown. Although it is worth noting that in 2006, he was trying to hook up with Lily.

He makes his own special shots for the gang in The Pineapple Incident, and Marshall tells the gang his theory that Carl might be a vampire.

Future Ted recounts in Blitzgiving that once previously, the beer taps broke and wouldn't stop pouring, so Carl, trying to stop the flow, offered free beer to everyone there.

So Carl owns MacClarens or something to that effect??? Really should build on that more if you ask me.

I even liked the finale. There, I said it!

Season 2 could have been cut in half. But apart from that it was great. Actually apart from that it was flawless.

Fucking flawless bartleby.

What I'd like to happen in HIMYM is for all these stories to build up to something really, really simple and dull.

Like if Ted is at the wedding (either Barney's or Punchy's) and he holds open the door to someone, catches the eye of someone we don't actually see and for the voice over to go

"And kids...that's how I met your mother"

[Cue black]

I don't want to see her at all. The rambles over the series of a man getting side tracked are never going to be worth it if you see some random actress. The point of the story is how he met her; not how he met and fell in love etc

Also because it's 'How I Met Your Mother' it'll have to be someone new for it to make sense otherwise it would be 'How Your Mother and I met, dated & got married'.

Lost was fun to watch but has anyone, even its biggest fan, actually watched a single episode of it since it finished? Zero value in the DVD market I'd say.

But yeah "We have to go back" was a brilliant TV moment in anyone's book.

Lost was shite from about the 4th series. All yer talk of HIMYM going nowhere. Lost was the ultimate pricktease. All setup, no payoff.

You know what I'd love to go back and re-watch. The X-files.

I loved that when I was younger, but then I stopped watching it.

David Duchovnys just cool as f*ck isn't he.

Speaking of X Files, a mate of mine was asked to be Gillian Anderson's arse double about an hour ago.
