Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

I don't know what you're basing NcNair and Love being not good enough on though. Love only featured briefly, but i thought he actually looked excellent in the couple of chances he had. McNair did himself a huge amount of credit in the opportunities he had too. Neither let the side down. Blackett pr...

Re: What's on your mind?

Im massively regretting buying a ticket Also, LCD have been saddled with the shite late night Saturday slot where you can hear a pin drop. Ive already seen them at Prima this year and it had the same problem They were pretty much nailed on for that slot anyway, it's been known chemical brothers are...

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Fellaini is out injured apparently. Wonder would Jose go very attacking and put Mkhitaryan in instead. Otherwise Martial will probably make way, still struggling to make an impact.

Nope. Good, but runs out of steam after White Ferrari. Channel Orange is better.

Gray is charged for homophobic tweets....he wrote four years ago. That is ridiculous. Are they going to go around charging lads for smoking joints in school next? The tweets only resurfaced because he scored against Liverpool and some sad fan went looking for a way to get revenge.

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Can see why Cazorla was left out of the Spain squad alright, his confidence looks through the floor. Was Ozil just being eased back in to the team? The defence actually looked solid apart from the penalty shouts, its the strikers that are really missing. Is Mustafi really the only player going to be...

Re: Do you like your job??

Not really, I have a lot of ties in Ireland at the moment, and I haven't had too much of a problem finding something for any school year since I've graduated, but I always get a bit anxious when August rolls round and I don't have anything (despite most jobs coming up at that time). My brother is te...

Re: Do you like your job??

Was in an interview there and the question that I struggled with was what do you know about the ethos of the school. I had scoured their website for something relevant to trot out on that exact question yesterday and couldn't find anything useful, there's usually a bit of patter on the homepage abou...

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Looks that way alright. Presumably Mourinho sees Blind and Carrick as enough DM cover, and I'd prefer both of them. Young might be kept for cover if Darmian is sold. Actually completely forgot about Depay, he's surely on his way if anyone is interested. Hasn't got a look in.

How the fuck do they go so fast? My best time jogging a 5k is about 24 minutes, for yer man Diniz to have set the world record he'd have had to average 21 minutes per 5k.

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Zlatan is a real star. It's like when Van Persie arrived and the whole team was lifted.
Midfield and the three behind Zlatan is going to be interesting this season. I can't see all 3 of Herrera, Young and Schneiderlin being kept.

Some drama in the mens 50k. The leader has shat himself, continued on, then later collapsed out on the ground, and has now got up and is going again. Mad bastard.

Re: What's on your mind?

Thieving will always be a thing, unfortunately. A friend of a friend had her bag stolen in electric arena last year. They had a few bags and jackets in a little pile in front of themselves, which is a perfectly normal thing to do. Guy asked her for a light, stood there smoking for a moment or two, ...

Re: What's on your mind?

This will probably be my last year for the moment unless they book a huge headliner next year or a big gang is going. Last year had a great lineup but the atmosphere wasn't up to much. Also I had work on Monday morning, so Sunday was grim.
