Belfast.

Though they probably outdid it with the Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran weekend in Swansea for 36 quid also, if that's your thing, seeing as both them fuckers would see fit to charge upwards of 90 quid each normally.

Re: What's on your mind?

Picked up tickets to Lovebox, and to the National in here in London. War on Drugs, Cat Power, Broken Social scene also on that national bill. £70 for tickets, can't say fairer than that! Nice. Though... Manics. Beck. Orbital. Underworld. Young Fathers. The Breeders. First Aid Kit. Courtney Barnett....

So we have a new leader, for the first time in forever.

And finally within striking distance of top spot.
Much prefer this format of the game. No captaincy is great and the fact that all your players scores are unique to you makes it far more interesting and changeable.

I think Trippier is class. Really not sure why he's been rotated in and out with Aurier. Should be nailed on.

The Martin O'Neill / Tony O'Donoghue thing though.... O'Donoghue has had that coming for a long time, and i've zero fucking sympathy for him, cunty and a...

I really don't want to see Mkhitaryan go.
I'd was hoping that he'd outlast Mourinho.

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

I'd love to see Sanchez at United.
He'd get through 3 times the amount of work Lukaku does.
And he'd do it against all opposition too, not just the lower teams, when he fancies it.
And in Europe.

Re: The Travel Thread

Going to road trip around Tuscany and a lot of northwestern Italy in Sept. Possibly even as far north east as Lake Garda as well, not sure yet, but going to have 2 full weeks and renting a car/camper, so happy to move about. Anyone been? Have good knowledge of the area? Tips/recommendations for plac...

I think this has been discussed already but Ready Player One looks fucking terrible.
The book is fucking laughably bad. I read about 20 pages of it and had to put it down. It reads like a 10 year old's school essay.

A) I don't think there is a hope in hell that Corbyn would pull out of Brexit. He might go for a softer Brexit though, make more concessions. Do you think there are any circumstances in which they would hold the referendum again? Like not in the sense "we didn't get the answer we wanted last time, ...

dont think the 2 are linked. If it didnt suit the EU's negotiating position and make the UK look weak, they woudnt give a fuck about the border imo Might be right actually. Just reading about it there and it does seem that the governments joint appeal with Apple is still going ahead, just that the ...

Am I being paranoid or is Ireland's u-turn on claiming unpaid tax from Apple a little too close to the EU having our back regarding Brexit?
I don't think paranoia's the word.
I'm sure Donald Tusk's resounding backslap for Leo last week was a quid pro quo arrangement.
