Re: The Book Thread

I read this recently - https://imagecomics.com/uploads/releases/TheCompletePhonogram-1.png fuck me it's good. There is three volumes of six issues each. It's a bit out there, there is magic in the world and it can be channeled through music, but don't worry about that, there's not too much of it to ...

Re: The Video Games Thread

Skyrim is on sale on xb1 for €30. never played it before, is it worth it? i loved fallout 3 which, i think, would be the closest thing i've played to it. but i still have fallout 4 here to play.

Re: Do you like your job??

They thought you would reapply? Can you still reapply? yeah, my manger looked shocked that i took it. I could still apply but i don't want to. time to move on. Wonder if they're shitting themselves cos they don't have the cash set aside to pay a redundancy that did cross my mind when thinking about...

Re: Do you like your job??

all sorted now. Had a meeting today, told them I was taking the redundancy. they weren't expecting that. Official finish date is 30th November but with holidays and match days to work between now and then, it'll be 9th-10 of November.

Re: Do you like your job??

Thanks guys, yeah due 21st of Feb. all exciting. bar the whole losing my job thing... I think the statutory redundancy is tax free so 23 of the 52 weeks. the package is decent enough, especially since i was thinking of leaving anyway. My wife is already looking at courses for me to do in january. Th...

Re: Do you like your job??

a year's pay would be very nice. would you find it handy enough to get a job where you are? could you take the redundancy and still re-apply? :) Yeah, i think there would be jobs around Galway for me to apply for. Hopefully something comes of that. work made it seam it was redundancy or re-apply di...

is the soldier the guy who won star baker?

i don't think the russian girl will get past the halfway point but her facial expressions are great
no, the soldier is the woman. The guy who won star baker, bit of a lisp, will do good too.

I agree about her facial expressions. funny stuff.

Playing through Watch Dogs at the moment. it was free with gwg last month. I'd done feck all of the main plot and concentrated on the many, many collectables open to you from the start. I like the privacy intrusions and the QR codes missions, and having fun on a motorbike checking in at the city spo...
