Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Yeah the system can be used to qualify for the Euros, though it favours big teams that do shite in qualifying really.

Re: What's on your mind?

Failed my first time cos I didnt take care looking at possible oncoming traffic from side streets or some shit, was a complete farce. Next time I failed for doing it too much then. Nearly attacked the cunt. Third time I was in traffic for 80% of the test, was another joke, but a handy way to pass

Re: TV Show Discussion Thread

Star Trek: Discovery is on Netflix. First 2 eps. Couldn't resist, watch the first 10mins or so this morning. Seems pretty decent. Great to have it new Trek anyway, can't be any worse than Enterprise. I thought the second series of Enterprise was really good, the first just killed it though, couldnt...

agriculture will still be devastated
Should be pushing hard for agricultural goods to be sold in Canada more as part of CETA. Beef and dairy are very expensive over here. Ireland should be taking full advantage of this deal

Re: GAA Thread

McCarth, Cluxton, Moran and Clarke nominated for POTY. Cluxton getting nominated for his kickouts alone is ridiculous. Clarke made a few good saves along the way alright but not enough for POTY. I think Moran should get it. Been unbelievable all year, destroyed Kerry in both games. Ive not seen enou...

Re: What's on your mind?

Is Hanoi worth the visit as well? Or Ha Long Bay? Would probably have time to head up to the north as well if not spending a huge amount of time around Ho Chi Minh. Also keeping an eye on the evolving situation in Cambodia with the elections coming up and opposition leaders being arrested and newsp...

Re: What's on your mind?

Do not spend a week in Ho Chi Min. 2 days at the most. Get in the tunnels and stuff and the Mekong Delta if you are into that. Nha Trang is a good spot for a bit of a party.

Re: Fantasy Football: The Executive Draft 2017-18

Thats a good question. If Bony was his top pick he should have gotten him first. Unless by top pick, you mean he was the one you wanted most but he wasnt your first pick in the list?

Re: Fantasy Football: The Executive Draft 2017-18

I dumped Monreal for a Huddersfield defender.
I got Joselu. My forwards are fairly goal shy too, ill be happy with anything.
Slim pickings indeed, but have the eye on one or two lads still up for grabs, just dont need them yet.

Re: Film Discussion Thread *NO SPOILERS*

Was looking a book in the airport the other day for my flights and they had a new release of It everywhere obviously linked to the new movie. Ended up chickening out and going for a John Grisham book cos I thought it might be a bit more manageable and light for flights. But I realised I've never ac...
