Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Lindelof was poor too. Squad isn't deep enough to replace all the poor performers last night, though presumably Shaw will have to start ahead of Young. Wishful thinking that Bailly might replace Smalling I suppose. Pogba was dreadful, lazy and technically poor. Sanchez at least tried but he's in no...

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Not looking forward to the weekend, especially if Smalling and Young are destined to start. They were atrocious last night. Mata and Lingard moving to RB made the biggest difference to how we played. Neither Alexis or Pogba should start but both will

Re: TV Show Discussion Thread

Finished Altered Carbon over the weekend. I enjoyed it. Not the most amazing show in the world but visually it was great and the story was decent enough. Wasn't paying attention in the first 2 or 3 episodes so some stuff didnt make sense later on the season without reading up on it.

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Henry would be akin to people calling for Giggs or any of the class of 92 getting the job after Ferguson. It's a fucking huge task for someone with no experience. Arsenal are in an even worse state than Utd were when Ferguson left and look how that left

Thats fucking ridiculous.

De bruynes pass at the end might be my favourite of the season. For me he meant the nutmeg from that far away

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Wouldnt say youd be in a minority amongst utd fans. Most i know think hes been great. His record against the top 6 is more reflective on Mourinho's tactics imo. I think he's been our best player since xmas

never thought i'd hear that's arsenal's is the model to follow
they're taking steps to mitigate against the inevitable turmoil when Wenger leaves. It's only been put in but something United need to look at imo. Woodward isn't fit to run hte footballing side

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Something that's continued to puzzle me with United, I get how Lukaku is 1st choice and and such regularly seen as the priority option. I just don't get how he never ever gets subbed off, regardless of whether he's stinking up the place or not. So seldomly a case of Rashford or Martial in instead o...

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Employing Mourinho beyond this summer will be a disaster for United. He has steadied the ship to a degree but we are so far behind the other teams in England in our approach and ability to manage games that we'll only fall further behind with his methods. For all Mourinho is lauded as a pragmatic ma...

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Weird that I was kind of cheering on Chelsea last night. Such is my hatred for Barcelona. Was almost the perfect performance from them, bar the mistake for the goal. One they definitely could have repeated in the Camp Nou without having to change anything.

I think Trippier is class. Really not sure why he's been rotated in and out with Aurier. Should be nailed on.
He can be a bit dodgy defensively as well imo. Though not as bad as Aurier. Think he's the best crosser of the ball in the league after KDB

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Think he's agreed a new contract, not that it means anything though. And yeah, we're playing great since Dembele has got back fully fit, hopefully we can hold it together for another few months. Wanyama is much better than Dier as well, so yous will probably improve even more once he is fully fit. ...

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Spurs we're fantastic last night. Some run they're on, easy wins over Utd & Arsenal, came from behind at Pool and Juve to get draws. Playing great football as well. Really hope PSG come in for Mourinho this summer and he fucks off. Would love to see what Poch would do with that Utd team not that I t...
