Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

It always astonishes me that these massive companies can't get their paperwork in order to do a £20m+ deal. Typical Madrid tactic though, wait till the last minute to make a genuine bid. I'm sure it will go through once the contents of the email or whatever can be verified as good to go at the time...

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

I know, but even in that situation the better players look a cut above. Sterling rarely did last season. He wasn't the one digging the team out of a hole every week. I'm not saying he's crap, I'm saying he's still very young and raw and there will be a focus on his mistakes now a lot more than there...

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Sterling has a big year ahead of him. He's still very raw and was cut a lot of slack at Liverpool for some of his performances. His pricetag means he won't get that luxury anymore. He wasn't Liverpool's best player last season and there weren't many occassions (for various reasons) that he looked par...

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Mrs. Benitez's comments were a bit daft alright but I think it's fairly clear to see they were said with tongue firmly in cheek. Mouriniho went full retard with his response. If he'd have mentioned Inter with a smile and left it at that it would have been perfect but he has come across as a bit of a...

Re: What's on your mind?

I think mine might actually be from 2000, but I can't find a registration date. I'm basing 2001 on the fact that that's my earliest email still in my inbox. HEY GUYS! What's a decent laptop I can get, for under €500? Fairly quick processing power, decent screen, can handle Football Manager? Check o...

Re: What's on your mind?

Is it really harder to find 28 St.Someone St, Irish Town, County, Ireland than a 6 digit code? How does it help a courier find my house? You have a house number and a street name. There's no problem there that's handy enough to find. I'm talking about out the country where the address might be Ball...

Re: What's on your mind?

If the couriers/delivery people get on board it'll be good for people in the country. The current method is get to the nearest town and phone for directions. Didn't amazon say a while back that the reason they don't offer better delivery rates is due to the postal system in Ireland? It's more expens...

The only way anyone should take him is on a loan or a pay as you play. He has one good season in 4 when he has to play for a contract.

That's one way to get him to stop ripping Skrtel a new one every time he plays against him. He has 5 in 6 or something against Liverpool.

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Sterling has the potential to be one of the best players in the league. He needs to improve finishing and decision making in the final third though. He has a tendency to panic and scuff shots or fall over the ball a bit when he gets into position in the box. That should improve with time and experie...

jesus can you imagine being yer one who scored that OG for England. You'd want to crawl into a hole and die I doubt there would be as much support if it was a bloke who did it though Yeah, a lot of the British sports media coverage has been a bit patronising towards the women seeing as how the trea...

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

BBC fella is reporting a £22m rising to £29m with add-ons. No nothing about Firminho so have no clue what sort of value that is.
