Re: What's on your mind?

Was never a fan of the Cranberries but I always thought Dreams was a great track. Desperately sad news for such a young woman. Sounds like she had a very troubled life growing up.

Re: Film Discussion Thread *NO SPOILERS*

Went to see the Disaster Artist this evening. I really enjoyed it. I wouldn't be a big James Franco by any stretch and even less so his brother but both are really good in it. You definitely don't have to have seen The Room to enjoy it but going by the number of laughs in the cinema it seemed most p...

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Has everyone seen these rumours about Liam Miller on Twitter? The story seems to be gathering a bit more traction this evening. :( Whats the rumours? Has been diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer. That type is a particular bastard as it's usually diagnosed quite late. He's still only 36. Has a few youn...

If Ferguson allows himself to be punched that easily against McGregor it'll only end one way.

Re: Film Discussion Thread *NO SPOILERS*

Going to see it again tomorrow on a massive screen. The sound is great in this place too so should be good.

I have to say the running time didn't bother me at all on my initial viewing.

Yeah it's bullshit. The seeded teams had their chance, should be just an open draw.

Bladerunner 2049 I reckon has set the benchmark for movie visuals. I don't remember seeing anything as impressive. The movie itself is brilliant as well.

Re: Film Discussion Thread *NO SPOILERS*

Yeah the original is terrible. It has one redeeming feature, Tim Curry. The new one is great.

The director is putting his name forward for doing Pet Sematery as well. That could be an amazing adaptation. Probably Kings most disturbing book.

IT was everything I hoped for. Absolutely loved it. The only character that was slightly off was Henry Bowers I thought. Everything else they nailed.

Re: Film Discussion Thread *NO SPOILERS*

I absolutely love The Stand. I know I've shite'ed on here about it loads before, but fucking Ben Affleck. He was moving in a solid direction with a 3-part adaptation before he made the worst decision of a career already littered with bad decisions and took the Batman gig. I feel like waiting for th...

Re: Film Discussion Thread *NO SPOILERS*

very by the numbers, but sure that's the source material isn't it. The book is phenomonal. One of the best Ive ever read This new Pennywise is meant to be much clsoer to the book version of it as well. Amazing book, one of my all time favourites! Hope they've finally done justice to it as the 90's ...

Found leaving early really awkward cos they had loads of the gates blocked off till 8. Did you have hassle getting out of the car park?
I drove around the field twice before I managed to find a steward who directed me out! Passed 2 exits that were blocked off.

Re: What's on your mind?

Came home early this morning, had a great Friday\Saturday. It had been raining for a couple of hours Saturday night but when I walked out of the Electric Arena after Interpol the place was in pretty bad shape, luckily I was going to bed at that stage. I reckon it's the last time I'll camp in the gen...
