Re: What's on your mind?

I was allowed vote which is odd. Does the reverse happen back home.

I wonder Will I be able to vote in an eu referendum?

Re: What's on your mind?

I assume we'd still have some agreement put in place but who knows.

I'll probably leave if the UK leaves, even if I don't have to for Visa reasons.

Re: What's on your mind?

i assume it's coming from a 'why would you want to join a club that doesn't want you in the first place' angle which is a very subjective viewpoint to have

the last comment is just typical dickish condescension which is par for the course at this stage

Re: Official Gym Thread

2 weeks before pretty much. And I'll actually be climbing the highest peaks in Wales and England so I'll be a little active.

I'll also probably be drinking a woeful amount of booze though which isn't great preparation. Might be doable though.

Re: What are you currently listening to?

He appears to be playing the album in its entirety with a nice selection of other songs thrown in on top. Only one from the last album which makes a lot of sense. It's going to be such drastically different show to the last few times I've seen him! I'm sure there are parts of his back catalogue that...

Re: Official Gym Thread

1 in 10. That's what I was looking for.

The Dublin Marathon would be the week after touring round the UK during the rugby world cup. I'm not sure if I'd be in prime condition after that. Shame, a few weeks earlier and it would be perfect.

http://cdn2.pitchfork.com/tracks/17370/homepage_large.dbfa1978.jpg really brilliant. listened to it twice already this morning. strikes me as being very much a headphones album, though. not sure how it would come across live? he's playing the apollo later in the summer and the capacity is around 4k...

Turns out my constituency is quite a key one with a <3% margin in the polls.

Re: Official Gym Thread

Signed up for next years London marathon. How likely am I in getting a spot?

After making the decision to do one I think I'd prefer to tackle one this autumn instead.

Re: Film Discussion Thread *NO SPOILERS*

Yeah I have seen some of them, really interesting! Would love to watch the lot. Just the US Netflix? Hmmmm. they might be on the UK version too, not sure coco. Pretty sure it's US only. I marathoned through as far as Up 28 over the Christmas but I found myself not getting the most out of it and dec...

One month into my new job and delighted with the change. Never spending 4 years in the same place again unless they go out of their way to ensure I stay.

Re: What's on your mind?

Luckily my birthday comes before that of the girl I recently started seeing so I don't have to deal with that uncertainty.

She'll be setting the benchmark. Hopefully it'll be incredibly low.

Re: What's on your mind?

I'm sure Oxegen 2004 had Massive attack, chemical brothers and Orbital all on the same time. I'd have been tearing my hair out trying to decide on that one. Pretty sure I went to The Killers on the New Band Stage for that. were you not at the cure on the sat night? would have thought you were a fan...

Re: What's on your mind?

The Who are one of the all time great bands. Far better headliner than most that do Glasto. It's more that they're doing a big London date already as part of the Hyde Park series. The whole thing feels like a repeat of last year's last minute addition of Metallica to fill a gaping hole. You'd hope ...

Re: What's on your mind?

That I assume. It being a few weeks after registration has closed is the main issue.

It's going to be my first time voting here.

Hope not being around to vote in the irish referendum isn't going to be an issue.

Re: Film Discussion Thread *NO SPOILERS*

Montage of Heck Was reluctant to watch this cause it's quite a sad subject matter. I was worried it would glorify Kurt excessively. I feared it would be a fan only experience. Interesting film, amazing that so much footage was at hand, especially from his childhood. It's a film about Kurt, not a Ni...
