Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Something that's continued to puzzle me with United, I get how Lukaku is 1st choice and and such regularly seen as the priority option. I just don't get how he never ever gets subbed off, regardless of whether he's stinking up the place or not. So seldomly a case of Rashford or Martial in instead of...

Re: Film Discussion Thread *NO SPOILERS*

watched some movies for the 1st time in ages this weekend. The Disaster Artist - was pretty great. Coco - had completely forgotten the trailer for this, so had no idea what direction the movie was gonna go in during the 1st 20 minutes. Was really good, got me in the feels by the end, the colour is m...

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Well Kane was offside for the first penalty. And for the second penalty was on Dele Alli so shouldn't count due to Boy Who Cried Wolf rules. Everyone in the studio interpreted the 1st goal as not offside due to Lovrens touch. But by that logic, and deflected pass to someone offside should be fine. ...

Re: What's on your mind?

Have the announced how much Elton John is gonna be? Would love to go but no way I’d pay the price. But I’m almost expecting it to be €140-160 if not more

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Thats what happens when you let lads run down their deals. Have you looked at the comments on Ornsteins tweets? Funny that after complaining he doesn't have the money to compete with United, etc on fees Pep is able to drop a £65m bid for Mahrez just because Sane is out for a few weeks. its a joke, ...

Glee is kind of cursed.
Anything else shitty happen from/to cast other than Puck & Finn?

Are any of the younger half of the cast even doing anything notable nowadays?

Re: TV Show Discussion Thread

I started watching that thing too, first episode was only OK, does it get better? Also watched the first Derry Girls, funny enough but jesus the acting in it is shocking. the entire series is only about 2h40m. I thought it was brilliant. You won't have invested too much time if you do try go further.

I'm about half way too, its very good. the girl in it is brilliant
i know a lot of people cast as teens are in their 20s, but i could not believe she is 25.

Also, apparently one of the girls in Derry Girls is 31

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

I’ve not read any of it yet, just heard bbc say 4 people he trained committed suicide.

Is there any proof he abused any of them, sexually or otherwise?

Also, two suspensions vs Brighton. Good man Chelsea!

Re: Film Discussion Thread *NO SPOILERS*

Saw All About the Money last night, mainly out of curiosity at how they'd cope with re-shooting all the scenes Spacey had been in in like a month. If you look at it from that angle it's very good. If you look at it as a standalone movie I thought it was very well acted in parts but kind of dull for...

I should be finishing season 3 tonight. But fully agree. Season 1 was a stomper, 2 was a dip, but this season has been incredible.

Hearing wind river will be ignored completely cause Weinstein was a producer. Cracking film tho Really enjoyed that. Didn't think it was typical Oscars fodder though. I might be associating it too much with Hell or High Water cause of the writer, but if that plucked a few noms, no real reason this ...

Re: TV Show Discussion Thread

I think I’ve watched BoB about 8 times now. Was watching it about once a year.

Never watched the Pacific. Watched the 1st episode one day and just knew I wouldn’t like the characters as much. I probably should give it a lash someday
