Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

With yous coming 2nd, I wouldn't for a second believe he'd go. Even had we won and 4th looked likely, I probably still wouldn't think so. But if he were to go, who would you want? Simeone's the only one off the top of my head, and even he's about defensive solidity (although that's probably partly d...

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Just watched the sky news interview. Expected a quick 3 minute apology. Your one grilled him good and proper, for 13 minutes. Asking whether he deserved to keep his job or if he’d offered to resign. No pussyfooting about just because he’s in the same organisation

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

tough ask to keep his job after that. Hope he does because he's good at it. Not that that should make any difference to whether he should keep it. The big knacker.

Feel bad for the poor girl. Her dad almost sounded thrilled she got spat on, rather than actually concerned.

Re: When will the weekend camping tickets go back on sale ?

Tickets and lineup both announced something like Fri Mar 24th last year. I’d expect similar this year, until they hint otherwise

They’ll give a heads up in advance

Re: What's on your mind?

Idris Elba added to Forbidden Fruit 😂 Earl added on the Sunday tho. I’ve never seen Bonobo. How good is he? Very tempted to go for him, having trouble getting mates to go. Got The XX tickets yesterday. Seems to be from a new promoter, Selective Memory, who’s also booked gigs for Broken Social Scene ...

Washed it on Sunday too. Enjoyed it. Was kinda sparked to watch it by coming across Sufjan Stevens song on Tonya. Gonna watch the 30 for 30 later this week

Re: TV Show Discussion Thread

Finally started Line of Duty last night. Flew threw the 1st 3 episodes. Seems outstandingly good. And from such a strong start, I'm hearing it gets better as it goes. Very excited to keep going.

Re: Film Discussion Thread *NO SPOILERS*

I haven't watched a Marvel movie in ages (or comic movie in general). I find them all so samey. Went to see Black Panther. 1st hour of the movie, thought it was one of the worst things ever, but i'd probably have thought that with any comic book movie. It improved once Michael B Jordan became more p...

Tickets aren't until March 23rd either. Can imagine ticket prices will be close to Elton John prices.

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Something that's continued to puzzle me with United, I get how Lukaku is 1st choice and and such regularly seen as the priority option. I just don't get how he never ever gets subbed off, regardless of whether he's stinking up the place or not. So seldomly a case of Rashford or Martial in instead of...

Re: Film Discussion Thread *NO SPOILERS*

watched some movies for the 1st time in ages this weekend. The Disaster Artist - was pretty great. Coco - had completely forgotten the trailer for this, so had no idea what direction the movie was gonna go in during the 1st 20 minutes. Was really good, got me in the feels by the end, the colour is m...

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Well Kane was offside for the first penalty. And for the second penalty was on Dele Alli so shouldn't count due to Boy Who Cried Wolf rules. Everyone in the studio interpreted the 1st goal as not offside due to Lovrens touch. But by that logic, and deflected pass to someone offside should be fine. ...

Have the announced how much Elton John is gonna be? Would love to go but no way I’d pay the price. But I’m almost expecting it to be €140-160 if not more

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Thats what happens when you let lads run down their deals. Have you looked at the comments on Ornsteins tweets? Funny that after complaining he doesn't have the money to compete with United, etc on fees Pep is able to drop a £65m bid for Mahrez just because Sane is out for a few weeks. its a joke, ...

Glee is kind of cursed.
Anything else shitty happen from/to cast other than Puck & Finn?

Are any of the younger half of the cast even doing anything notable nowadays?

Re: TV Show Discussion Thread

I started watching that thing too, first episode was only OK, does it get better? Also watched the first Derry Girls, funny enough but jesus the acting in it is shocking. the entire series is only about 2h40m. I thought it was brilliant. You won't have invested too much time if you do try go further.
