Re: Fantasy Football: The Executive Draft 2017-18

Some week he had. I like this format too, just wish we had maybe 2 less teams in the league to give us a little more room over the season for decision making.

Brother in law got tickets for the Manics/Beck one in Belfast. £18 absolute bargain.

Think he's agreed a new contract, not that it means anything though. And yeah, we're playing great since Dembele has got back fully fit, hopefully we can hold it together for another few months.
Dembele absolutely dominated the Arsenal midfield. He's such a good player.

Re: TV Show Discussion Thread

Why overact it though? The main girl is completely distracting the way she overacts and the nun in the school is clearly trying to steal the show by overacting too. The writing is grand, the actual jokes are decent, there is no need for the stupidly OTT acting.

He's right, interviewers after games are getting more dickheady every season.

Poch on diving: “Football is about trying to trick your opponent. When you do tactics, it is to try to trick the opponent. Twenty or thirty years ago, we all congratulated a player when he tricks the referee like this.”

He's like Robbie Savage in the way he'll go down under the faintest touch one minute and start looking for cards, etc and then leave his studs in a few minutes later.

I also think that offside rule is bollox. Kane being there informs Lovren's decision to lunge at the ball.
Clattenburg is in the papers today saying it was still off side too. It goes to show the rules aren't clear enough when even the refs disagree after the fact.

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Well Kane was offside for the first penalty. And for the second penalty was on Dele Alli so shouldn't count due to Boy Who Cried Wolf rules.

Chris Rock is the best stand up I've ever seen live. I was in pain I laughed so hard with almost no let up.

As in 50 quid each? That's reasonable for probably the biggest comedian in the world. 100 each is a bomb for sure, but still, that's where all tickets are these days. Do you reckon? You may be right, he's massively overrated though. I liked his show but his old stand up was only decent IMO and his ...

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

I think Giroud will be a better fit for Chelsea than Morata. He will have plenty of pace off him and they get their attacking mids close in support because of the back five. He doesnt need too many chances to score either. Could have a brilliant partnership with Hazard If they feed him those crosse...

Arsenal would be mad to let Chelsea buy Giroud
Yep. We've already solidified Uniteds top 4 spot. After last nights performance its unlikely we'll catch Liverpool or Chelsea but we can't just hand Chelsea Giroud and solve their striker issues either.

Thats what happens when you let lads run down their deals. Have you looked at the comments on Ornsteins tweets?

Funny that after complaining he doesn't have the money to compete with United, etc on fees Pep is able to drop a £65m bid for Mahrez just because Sane is out for a few weeks.

Your one Santana was arrested for beating her husband.

Yer man who plays Flash in the TV show was on it a bit I think and Supergirl was too. The main guy in Manhunter was in it, he was the English guy in the Original Broadway cast of Hamilton too.
