Re: The Video Games Thread

I barely used the power armour at all. I hated the HUD it has. I used late in the game for exploring the glowing sea but first time I just used radaway, etc and ran as fast as I could.

Re: What's on your mind?

I doubt it but who knows. If this things drags out for long enough that the direct financial implications start hitting ordinary people then maybe.

Re: What's on your mind?

Yeah I reckon they'll pull back from the brink sooner or later. One hypothetical: May's government will collapse, either due to the DUP or something else. Corbyn will become PM after general election, he will say Brexit has to go on. The back bench and/or the media and/or the public will say no we ...

Re: What's on your mind?

Its nuts. These are people who don't believe in evolution, global warming, etc some of them are even flat earthers. And there they are holding the balance of power between the UK and Europe.

Re: Film Discussion Thread *NO SPOILERS*

They could just sell Hulu and the Disney streaming as a package. Keep the more mature content on Hulu then.

Re: What's on your mind?

We have our veto and that meant the border was always going to matter. Plus here are a lot of countries on the continent with Brexit style movements at the moment and the EU needs to look like they back their own.

Re: Film Discussion Thread *NO SPOILERS*

Disney apparently closing in on buying Fox's tv and movie assets. Its just gonna be Disney alone releasing films in 5 years time. At least the X-men and Fantastic Four might join the MCU, that'd be pretty cool. House of M trilogy would be class Disneys streaming service is going to become a real ch...

House of Cards coming back without Spacey for final season. Wonder how they'll write him out.
Maybe Tom Hammerschmidt will push him in front of a train.
Its going to be like when Eric left That 70s Show, shit.

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Are you kidding me? That was a shocker, he could have put Bellerin out for months.

Great match though, very disappointing result considering the way it went but very exciting. Good to see Arsenal really fight after going 2 down early on, in recent years that would have turned into 4 or 5.

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

If they'd a proper top centre forward their attack would be incredible. Firminho is decent but he's not a proper CF who'll score 25 goals in a season.

They're gonna build a great border, a beautiful border and they're gonna get Ireland to pay for it. Mark my words.

Re: TV Show Discussion Thread

I like Maeve Higgins. Saw her at the Iveagh gardens gig a few months ago and I was impressed by the fact that she had a decent amount of material based on news and showbizzy stuff from that past couple of days. Which was also funny. A lot of comics lean on the same jokes for months and months, year...
