Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Woodward's obviously briefed the press on Utd's transfers or lack thereof. Fairly scathing on Mourinho, didn't think his targets were much of an improvement on what we have already, were all short term thinking, and they wouldnt sell Shaw or Martial. They obviously feel might outlast the manager

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

think i asked this last time people were getting a little fed up. Who'd be the ideal targets as a replacement? Poch who just signed a contract? Zidane? Conte? Mourinho's actually favourite to be next PL manager gone checking Oddschecker. Not super short or anything, but 7/1. Poch for me. Would love...

Hope we have a horrible start and he gets the bullet, even if some of his comments are being completely blown out of proportion by the media

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Hopefully Valencia's injury will mean Fosu Mensah is kept on and not loaned out, would love to see him given a chance. United staying in top 4 is dependent on existing players performing better than they did last year, Shaw, Sanchez, Pogba etc, and Mourinho showing a bit of trust in the team he has ...

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

I think Liverpool's biggest issue might be their squad and keeping everyone happy now. Ox's injury is probably a blessing in disguise as it was looking like Henderson, LLalana, Milner, Ox, Wijnaldum, Fabinho and Keita for the 3 available midfield spots. Clyne will be back for the RB spot with TAA. O...

Re: Fantasy Football: The Executive Draft 2017-18

I like it. I'd say there is about the same level of skill but as I said earlier in the year it'd be better with about 2-4 less teams so you could change it up a bit easier. Very difficult now to change striker for instance. yeah we should limit it to the 10 first responders next year. If there are ...

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Not a good week for Pep. Rule No.1 of management: don't call out a specific opposition player in pre-match press conference. Dodgy ref helped United out big time, but wow is Sterling a hopeless finisher. Better from Pogba but still think he's capable of better under an attack-minded manager, and if...

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Well deserved. Appalling management from Mourinho, appalling performances from almost every united player barring Lukaku and to some extent Rashford (though his inexperience really shined with those constant, hopeless free kicks). Sevilla should have won the first leg as well, only right they went ...

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Don't think it's a case of expectations, especially considering how the English teams have performed in the CL over the last few years. I think it's just more of a goodwill thing towards Spurs. It didn't look like your second time in the CL knockouts for the first hour

Re: What's on your mind?

Thanks everyone and congratulations Dick Jones. big times ahead of you. We got home on saturday night, for all of 3 hours. one of the epidurals went right through and into her and caused a spinal tap. we were told it would cause headaches and to come straight in if it did. All the medication she wa...

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

If City, Chelsea, Utd or Arsenal did that last night and lost from such a commanding position like Spurs had they'd be destroyed in the media, and rightfully so.
