Re: Fantasy Football: The Executive Draft 2017-18

I like it. I'd say there is about the same level of skill but as I said earlier in the year it'd be better with about 2-4 less teams so you could change it up a bit easier. Very difficult now to change striker for instance. yeah we should limit it to the 10 first responders next year. If there are ...

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Not a good week for Pep. Rule No.1 of management: don't call out a specific opposition player in pre-match press conference. Dodgy ref helped United out big time, but wow is Sterling a hopeless finisher. Better from Pogba but still think he's capable of better under an attack-minded manager, and if...

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Well deserved. Appalling management from Mourinho, appalling performances from almost every united player barring Lukaku and to some extent Rashford (though his inexperience really shined with those constant, hopeless free kicks). Sevilla should have won the first leg as well, only right they went ...

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Don't think it's a case of expectations, especially considering how the English teams have performed in the CL over the last few years. I think it's just more of a goodwill thing towards Spurs. It didn't look like your second time in the CL knockouts for the first hour

Re: What's on your mind?

Thanks everyone and congratulations Dick Jones. big times ahead of you. We got home on saturday night, for all of 3 hours. one of the epidurals went right through and into her and caused a spinal tap. we were told it would cause headaches and to come straight in if it did. All the medication she wa...

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

If City, Chelsea, Utd or Arsenal did that last night and lost from such a commanding position like Spurs had they'd be destroyed in the media, and rightfully so.

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Lindelof was poor too. Squad isn't deep enough to replace all the poor performers last night, though presumably Shaw will have to start ahead of Young. Wishful thinking that Bailly might replace Smalling I suppose. Pogba was dreadful, lazy and technically poor. Sanchez at least tried but he's in no...

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Not looking forward to the weekend, especially if Smalling and Young are destined to start. They were atrocious last night. Mata and Lingard moving to RB made the biggest difference to how we played. Neither Alexis or Pogba should start but both will

Re: TV Show Discussion Thread

Finished Altered Carbon over the weekend. I enjoyed it. Not the most amazing show in the world but visually it was great and the story was decent enough. Wasn't paying attention in the first 2 or 3 episodes so some stuff didnt make sense later on the season without reading up on it.

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Henry would be akin to people calling for Giggs or any of the class of 92 getting the job after Ferguson. It's a fucking huge task for someone with no experience. Arsenal are in an even worse state than Utd were when Ferguson left and look how that left

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Wouldnt say youd be in a minority amongst utd fans. Most i know think hes been great. His record against the top 6 is more reflective on Mourinho's tactics imo. I think he's been our best player since xmas

never thought i'd hear that's arsenal's is the model to follow
they're taking steps to mitigate against the inevitable turmoil when Wenger leaves. It's only been put in but something United need to look at imo. Woodward isn't fit to run hte footballing side
