Re: What's on your mind?

Yup, fantastic. I was completely wrecked afterwards, I dunno how the band manage it for a full tour. What an album. Thought the second half was great too. Donkeys, Europa and Postcards from a Young Man were great and Design for Life was phenomenal. I heard they played 1985 at the other dates, it's o...

Re: F1 Thread

So Marussia have folded. Won't be able to pick up their 9th place winnings which is a real shame. And with Bianchi still in a bad way, it's been a really dreadful month for them. Looks like Caterham will be going the same way too. Crazy that those two and HRT were the last three teams to enter the s...

Prefer Robert Plant's solo stuff much more than Led Zeppelin.

Highlights: Just moved house which is good. Last place didn't have central heating so it's nice to have it again.

Lowlights: Half deaf in one ear thanks to reckless use of q-tips.

Re: What's on your mind?

How sore is it and how long does it stay sore? Its very sore. Well for me it was anyway. And full recover time is 5/6 weeks although the pain lessens around 3 i think. Thats what the doc told me to book off work anyway. 2.5 weeks 3 weeks? Jesus. Maybe it's three weeks before you can use it properly...

I really enjoyed the first. Once you get over the combat it's a very good game. Second one was shite but Inquisition looks very good.

Re: The Video Games Thread

Does anyone have the new Fifa for the 360 or PS3? I'm still playing '12 but I can't say I'm too pushed on getting '15. The only thing that would make me consider it is the 20 Prem stadiums!

Re: F1 Thread

What a weekend. First of all, I really hope Bianchi is alright. I saw a few pics of the crash and it really looked horrible. The top of the car was sheared off. Very scary. Who's made the better choice for next season, Vettel to Ferrari or Alonso to McLaren? I doubt either of them are going to see m...

Re: Film Discussion Thread *NO SPOILERS*

I Origins Not sure what to make of it overall. It's an odd film, sort of in-between sci fi and romance. It's got some interesting ideas so I think it's worth a watch anyway. The ending left me a bit cold though. It was neither here nor there really. Like it built up to whether one 'soul' passes on ...

Re: The "What I Bought Today" Thread

aye that's the speculation. album in full, interval, greatest hits / futurology. really feel a bit disappointed that futurology didn't get a 'proper' tour. they only played 4 songs from it during the entire tour in april and one of those was 'lets go to war' which they played only once. best album ...

The Visitor edit'..... I mean 'The Guest' Went in knowing very little about the film bar that the director did 'You're Next' It's great. Re: The "What I Bought Today" Thread

Got an upper circle ticket for the Manics as well. Annoyed I couldn't get a standing ticket but fuck it sure. Had a look at their Facebook page and the forum and there's lots of pissed off fans! I presume there'll be an interval and back on for 10 or so greatest hits?

Can't say I enjoyed The Rover that much at all. Robert Pattinson was good though.

Saw Lucy a few days ago. Just a straight up sci-fi action film really. Plot is bonkers and there's not much else to it, decent enough.
