Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Sanchez lost possession 35 times in a game recently...

We were a fucking embarrassment last night.

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Kane's looked like a Gerrard special to me but Sky showed fuck all angles of it.

I also think that offside rule is bollox. Kane being there informs Lovren's decision to lunge at the ball.

Re: The Travel Thread

I was heavily pregnant and had no issues.

Just back from my travels and my advice would be go to Myanmar instead. Blew everywhere else I visited out of the water...until I got to Japan.

Binned my job and travelling around for the next 2/3 months. Very little planned.

Off to Myanmar tomorrow if anyone's been

Re: The Travel Thread

I’ll probably watch the football somewhere in Hanoi tonight if anyone fancies the oddest boardie meetup ever
EF, the ball and chain must be getting on your tits at this stage surely?

Casino, have you been to Sapa? What’s the best way to get there and can I DIY it or should i go on tour?

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Even by Arsenal standards it's difficult to comprehend how much we've ballsed up this last week or so. I genuinely thought the squad looked pretty decent before the season started, on the assumption that we'd add 1 or 2 before the deadline. Having said all summer that there was no chance Sanchez wou...

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

No idea. I assume / pray it's 75m + add ons. We're trying to send Wilshere on loan to Birmingham for the last year of his contract. Rumour has it we can't comply with the PL wage rules and there's a fire sale to get players off the wage bill. What an absolute shit show. I can understand some deals g...

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

They're getting Mahrez apparently.

Lots of reports suggesting that we'll sell Sanchez for 50m +5m add ons if we can get Lemar for...90m. Jesus...

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

If he only played twice a year I'd be fine with it. It wouldn't matter what poor Danny did - you'd never accept him. Same with Ox. Ramsey on the other hand could ride your wife and you'd still give him a free pass! I think an end of season trolley dash is the best we can hope for currently. It's a ...

http://cdn.images.express.co.uk/img/dynamic/67/590x/Danny-Welbeck-scores-518051.jpg 37 goals in 10 seasons dunno how this guys is still in teh prem Yeah he's basically a black Shane Long. A lot of pointless running about that doesn't achieve anything. Always good for a goal against United though :t...

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

If the going rate for a benchwarmer from the Portuguese league is 40m we should clear 10! He actually reminds me of Bailly a lot...except not as good

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

He's not worth close to it. I'll be sad to see him go if he leaves though. He's been one of our best players since we moved to 3 at the back and offers something no one else in the side does. He does more with the ball than any of our other full backs have in years. Leaving it this late to try and s...

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

We've offered Ox 185k/week. The club is a complete shambles at the minute from top to bottom. Wenger needs a big week in the transfer market.

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

To be fair to him it sounds like he would have been willing to let him go if he pushed for a move rather than wanted him out. I'm surprised and delighted he wants to stay. He's the perfect impact sub. I had thought prior to the season kicking off that we were pretty well set at CB but that goes out ...

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Interesting start to the season so far.

Wenger is going to come in for some serious heat if we lose to Liverpool on Sunday. His team selection for Stoke was fucking bizarre.
