Re: What's on your mind?

He was always roundly criticised once he was a minister and rightly so. He wants to ban strikes in the public service, I don't trust him to run the referendum on the 8th amendment fairly, he's already trying to move backwards from the recommendations of the Citizens Assembly despite it being his pa...

Re: What's on your mind?

Shite poster. Leo jumps out at you. I despise Varadkar but that poster just makes him look far more charismatic than bland, sneaky Mehole. And Martin looks like Stannis or worse Roose Bolton rather than Jon. Where's all the hatred for Varadkar come from exactly? As soon as he got the top job, peopl...

Re: GAA Thread

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_miCD7Oz0D0 Not a GAA person atall but this Mayo player throwing something at yerman as he took that free kick the other day is scaldy behaviour. Not sure what he thought it would achieve, but still. I'd say he thought it might make him miss it like. Sure at the end ...

Watched Mother! At the weekend too. Thought it was fucking muck. It looks great and Lawerence is great in it, and same as yourself I was happy to stay with it up to a point, but.... when you realise that the film is not about Jennifer Lawrence's character as much ch as it lets on, but is actually a...

Re: What's on your mind?

Awesome guys thanks. The only bits I've fully booked so far are the flights from Dublin to Bangkok then the flight from Bangkok to Phuket and from Ho Chi Minh back to Bangkok. So still a bit flexible on where to go I Phuket area and how long to spend in each still Give yourself time on the islands,...

Re: What's on your mind?

Phi Phi was well on its way to being rebuilt when we were there, and that was 2010.
I would definitely spend more than a day trip there, and far less than a week in Phuket. Phi Phi Lei and Phi Phi Don are beautiful.

‘De Boer would pick balls out of the sky, swivel on the spot and then ping one into the top corner'
Also, that doesn't sound very much like Frank De Boer, the player, that i remember.

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

I'd heard yesterday that there were problems between him and Parish from the minute he was appointed, before he'd even taken a training session. Parish has to take the wrap on the knuckles for it. Bizarre situation right from the start. That bit above makes Delaney sound like a bit of a shit-stirrer...

Re: What's on your mind?

There's an Irish "vlogger" I keep seeing too who's mad for all that. Anti-feminist, anti-SJW (whatever that means), anti "fake news", obsessed with censorship and the odd foray into thinly veiled racism. Wanks to PrisonPlanet. twitter.com/davecullenCF Absolute tosser. This dipshit has turned up on ...

Frank De Boer got the chop already  shortest manager stint in PL history, at least in terms of games
85 days at Inter Milan.
77 days at Crystal Palace.

Live that down in your next job interview.

(Les Reed had 41 days at Charlton. 7 games.)

Re: Do you like your job??

Congrats on the incoming new arrival Eoin, and by the sounds of it, happy days with the redundancy too. That's a huge offer. It that was voluntary i'd even still be biting their hand off, especially if i was thinking of leaving anyway. A little bump in the road now, but down the line, once you get s...

Re: GOT Thread

So that slightly random scene with Bronn and Podrick, where he puts his arm around him, and says, "lets you and me go have a pint"... is that purely so that Bronn and Cersei didn't have to share screen time, cos they fucking hate each other in real life and need to be kept apart at all times? Lola?...
