Re: Official Gym Thread

Looking to sign up to a local half marathon here in East London. The basic price is £49, which is steep, but for an extra £40, you can get:
posh loos, private baggage check and race day hospitality.

.... fuck me, races have jumped the shark...

Re: What's on your mind?

Picked up tickets to Lovebox, and to the National in here in London. War on Drugs, Cat Power, Broken Social scene also on that national bill. £70 for tickets, can't say fairer than that!

Best afternoon you'll spend there Lucca is a beautiful city. Had to stay there for work years back. My crappy hotel looked out onto the square, where one...

Re: What's on your mind?

Don't know what put it into my head but was only thinking the other day about how around the time of the IMF coming in Emmo was telling everybody to move their money out of irish banks and into sterling. also hate when says that the purpose of a statement is to apologise, or they would like to apologise Not apologies either. Unless you say "I'm sorry" or "I apologise", you are not apologizing. Statements that mean nothing are getting more and more popular. Obviously politicians are at the forefront ...

O'Higgins in Clonskeagh, and Redmonds of Ranelagh both stock those beers. Think I've bought them in the Whelan's front bar too. V. distinctive can.
Haven't discovered anything new that's blown me away in a while.
Anyone done any good brewery tours in or around London?

I'm about to start work on a new 3 year project in work here. It's based around researching whether hydrogen (created as an output from renewable energy such as wind turbines) is viable as a fuel to run public transport networks. Looks pretty interesting as a topic tbh. Quite looking forward to get...

Sounds great cat, just take it! I've had very little activity in the 2 months I've been looking for something in Dublin This is a big worry of mine when it's time to move home, although I don't think my industry is as restricted as yours. I was contacted from home last week about a position. I was ...
