Re: Film Discussion Thread *NO SPOILERS*

also hate when says that the purpose of a statement is to apologise, or they would like to apologise Not apologies either. Unless you say "I'm sorry" or "I apologise", you are not apologizing. Statements that mean nothing are getting more and more popular. Obviously politicians are at the forefront ...

Re: The Nice Beer Thread

O'Higgins in Clonskeagh, and Redmonds of Ranelagh both stock those beers. Think I've bought them in the Whelan's front bar too. V. distinctive can.
Haven't discovered anything new that's blown me away in a while.
Anyone done any good brewery tours in or around London?

It's based around researching whether hydrogen (created as an output from renewable energy such as wind turbines) is viable as a fuel to run public transport networks. Looks pretty interesting as a topic tbh. Quite looking forward to get...

Sounds great cat, just take it! I've had very little activity in the 2 months I've been looking for something in Dublin This is a big worry of mine when it's time to move home, although I don't think my industry is as restricted as yours. I was contacted from home last week about a position. I was ...

Re: Do you like your job??

I've had very little activity in the 2 months I've been looking for something in Dublin

the only interviews I've had are with a small company where I think (and the recruiter thinks) it's too junior, and the other is back to big 4 accounting practice where I know the hours are v bad.

what did you do?

job hunt heating up for London now. did a second round interview yesterday. if I'm over doing many more, the £££ will start to add up. I'd say yest cost 150e and that's with dirt cheap flights.

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

the number of games remains the same, friendlies are eliminated - that's my understanding.

surely cutting out the friendlies with oman, and playing teams of our level is better for the development of our team.

not taking away from the fact that this is 100% to increase $$$

no bloody sniff of a ticket over there at all. didn't hear of one person actually picking one up there. still good craic nonetheless.
