Re: What's on your mind?

About to take my 4th flight of the week, to be quickly followed by the 5th! The missus bought us a weekend away in Oslo for this weekend months before the referendum vote was announced, so had to book flights to go over and back to dublin quickly and meet her in heathrow then work needed me to go to...

Re: What's on your mind?

More memories of a great community. The old thread with all the links to megaupload and the like. I'd say 25% of my music collection still comes from those threads/downloads The old "What are you listening to" threads where we'd just hide the links in the album covers. pretty much haven't dis...

Re: The Travel Thread

Thinking of going to SA next year - we've both built up a tonne of points over the last few years working, and SA seems like really good value for nice business flights down. I'll definitely be popping my head back in here later in the year. What time of year is best to visit?

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

i wouldn't get sacked for it. Not sure why we hold TV personalities to a higher moral code than we do normal people. You would, if you spat at a client. When you're in the public eye, the public are your client. that's a fair point Don't think he will be sacked for it - and i don't think i really c...

Looking to sign up to a local half marathon here in East London. The basic price is £49, which is steep, but for an extra £40, you can get:
posh loos, private baggage check and race day hospitality.

.... fuck me, races have jumped the shark...

Picked up tickets to Lovebox, and to the National in here in London. War on Drugs, Cat Power, Broken Social scene also on that national bill. £70 for tickets, can't say fairer than that!
