Re: Film Discussion Thread *NO SPOILERS*

Saw All the Money in the World last night, mainly out of curiosity at how they'd cope with re-shooting all the scenes Spacey had been in in like a month. If you look at it from that angle it's very good. If you look at it as a standalone movie I thought it was very well acted in parts but kind of du...

Re: Film Discussion Thread *NO SPOILERS*

I watched it on Boxing Night there. I would agree that it's not THAT bad but at the same time I found myself getting distracted by my phone as it went on so it obviously wasn't quite holding my attention like a good movie does. It passed a couple of hours though They've announced a sequel as well I ...

Re: The Travel Thread

Maybe.... :? Yeah, we kind of messed up the timing on that one. It looks like we're going to postpone SE Asia. Seems we can change the flight dates for a small fee and most of the hotels are free cancellation so we'll not lose anything much that way then can go back for a break from the child at a l...

Re: The Travel Thread

So, eh, back to the travel tips for Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam... Has anyone ever travelled there either while pregnant or with anyone pregnant and have any advice on whether this is a good idea or not.....?

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

When did football shirts get so ridiculously expensive. I was over at Benifca game a couple of weeks back and usually would pick up a shirt at a game as a memento but it was €75 so I thought nah. Just picked up a Man Utd shirt (*spit*) for a Christmas present and it was £65 in Sports Direct (So at l...

Re: What's on your mind?

So basically UK is now leaving, but going to remain having to stick to EU regulations. Remain at the mercy of EU Court. Pay 50 billion Euro. And people in NI get to still be EU citizens if they wish.

Brexit is a great idea.

Re: TV Show Discussion Thread

BoB is probably the greatest TV show ever made in my opinion. It's almost perfect in so many ways. I think The Pacific is possibly due a reappraisal. Not knowing it was going to be so unlike BoB probably actually made it an impossible position. Watching it without comparisons to BoB I think it could...

Re: What's on your mind?

Its nuts. These are people who don't believe in evolution, global warming, etc some of them are even flat earthers. And there they are holding the balance of power between the UK and Europe. I'm not sure how closely you guys have been following it but there's 2 issues that just are mental. First ar...

Hi guys. Looking forward to staying in the EU with you all
DUP will go nuts if they get treated differently to the rest of the UK. Gonna be fun times. Wonder what David Cameron thinks of it all.

Re: What's on your mind?

DUP campaign for Brexit (including being mysteriously funded by Saudi Arabia or somewhere to take out an advert in a newspaper not even circulated in NI). Northern Ireland votes to stay in EU but obviously has to leave as UK wide vote. DUP, as the largest party in NI says we have to go with the "wil...
