Re: What's on your mind?

Yeah I redid one side during the summer. The old posts were rotten at ground level so I reused the panels but put new posts in with a concrete base. That part hasn't even wobbled today.

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Actually I'll give the linesman credit. He was at the edge of the 18 yard box, on the opposite side, looking through the back of the defender who cleared it off the line

Pretty much the same angle the referee and linesman gave it from! In the 90th minute to make it 2-1

Re: What's on your mind?

Garden fence has pretty much given up the ghost and we're only getting the start of it.

Sure I wanted a new fence anyway. Would have preferred to wait til I could afford one though.

Re: What's on your mind?

Office here has decided to close at 1, though the met office is now saying it'll likely hit around here at 12 instead of 3. The sky is a very bizarre colour too. Interestingly if you scroll round the globe, the strongest winds anywhere on the planet right now are off the south west of Ireland https:...

Re: What's on your mind?

Gonna spend today taking everything in my garden down and putting it into the shed. Looks like tomorrow is going to be wild. Good luck to everyone on the west, looks like you'll get the worst of it. Our garden fence was blown over to about a 30 degree angle in the winds last winter when they were a...

Re: What's on your mind?

The Tories are fucking idiots. Alison McGovern comes in on Ireland. Q: The government wants no physical structures at the border. But it also wants migration checks. Won’t they have to be at the border? Hammond says those controls won’t necessarily have to be at the border. Q: Won’t customs checks h...

Re: The Footie Thread 2014/15

Were NZ not at the last WC?

Didn't realise there was another qualifier for Syria, that's a shame. Into the 2nd half of extra time now and still 1-1, but they're down to 10 men. Would be a sickner for Australia to lose out there
