Re: What's on your mind?

So basically UK is now leaving, but going to remain having to stick to EU regulations. Remain at the mercy of EU Court. Pay 50 billion Euro. And people in NI get to still be EU citizens if they wish.

Brexit is a great idea.

Re: TV Show Discussion Thread

BoB is probably the greatest TV show ever made in my opinion. It's almost perfect in so many ways. I think The Pacific is possibly due a reappraisal. Not knowing it was going to be so unlike BoB probably actually made it an impossible position. Watching it without comparisons to BoB I think it could...

Re: What's on your mind?

Its nuts. These are people who don't believe in evolution, global warming, etc some of them are even flat earthers. And there they are holding the balance of power between the UK and Europe. I'm not sure how closely you guys have been following it but there's 2 issues that just are mental. First ar...

Hi guys. Looking forward to staying in the EU with you all
DUP will go nuts if they get treated differently to the rest of the UK. Gonna be fun times. Wonder what David Cameron thinks of it all.

Re: What's on your mind?

DUP campaign for Brexit (including being mysteriously funded by Saudi Arabia or somewhere to take out an advert in a newspaper not even circulated in NI). Northern Ireland votes to stay in EU but obviously has to leave as UK wide vote. DUP, as the largest party in NI says we have to go with the "wil...

Re: Film Discussion Thread *NO SPOILERS*

Justice League has some of the worst CGI I have ever seen. It was so bad, it was actually distracting to the point where I missed what characters were saying because I was too busy thinking 'What the fuck is wrong with his face?' or 'How did a film that cost THIS MUCH look so fucking bad?' Steppenw...

Re: Film Discussion Thread *NO SPOILERS*

The thing is, I actually think Marvel is only REALLY getting to where it's good now. Ok, so not "good". Lots of the movies were decent enough, though it did get a bit tedious having the same build up, build up, big massive CGI actions battle, end plot. But the likes of GotG and Deadpool have allowed...

Re: TV Show Discussion Thread

I had a shot of the Sky Q machine in my oul pair's the other night. The UI is excellent, really fast + intuitive menu system. It makes the Virgin one look even worse than it already is. Movies On Demand is RIDICULOUS. Yeah, we're getting Q in in a few weeks, just running the old fashioned Sky Box f...

Re: TV Show Discussion Thread

I'm actually thinking of ditching Netflix now. Too many shows I start then either forget or ditch. Want to go back to quality not quantity and watch things on a week by week basis. I'm not sure there's anything on Netflix I watch that I'd really miss (We also got Sky back so have Sky Box Sets availa...

Re: TV Show Discussion Thread

Finished watching Star Trek Discovery. It was OK, it had its moments, but overall very disappointed by it. Going by the ending there Looks like they're going to do again what JJ did to cheat the original timeline. Split into a parrallel universe where they can subsequently go any way they want with...

Re: TV Show Discussion Thread

Fair, and yeah, I suppose if you're writing and creating something that you know will be watched a different way maybe you don't put the same effort (for want of a better word) into the crafting of it
